My husband has been eating home cooked meals, not McDonald's combos for dinner. What on earth makes you think that he has been eating Big Mac combos with large fries and medium drinks?! It's not like I figured out which meal offers the most Monopoly game pieces in one sitting or something. And I am certainly not encouraging him to eat that unhealthy in the name of winning a million dollars... or a Nissan... or a trip to Jamaica... or a spa package... or an EA Sports Trip. Not that I know the entire prize list or anything.
What if every time we pulled up to the McDonald's drive thru window the cashier smiled and said, "Are y'all playing Monopoly?" It would almost seem as if she had recognized us. Or maybe she recognized the order. Anyway, I'm glad that is definitely not the case.
Could you imagine if the game had been going on for 3 days and I already had every piece needed for each prize except for the rare pieces? A full game board in 3 days?! That's 17 different pieces. Not to mention the fact that I'd have a pile of duplicate pieces and coupons for free food. In 3 days?! That would be simply outrageous.
Wouldn't it be considered over the top if I was already searching for rare game pieces on Craigslist and E-Bay? Three days in? It definitely would. Good thing I'm not doing that!
What if we were driving along after a bad storm and saw a huge rainbow arching across the sky? What if my husband shouted, "Cathy, we should follow the rainbow to McDonald's. I bet it's a sign!" Wouldn't that have been ridiculous? Better yet, what if I listened to him and sped to McDonald's full of hope instead of cooking the chicken I thawed before we went out? Absurd, right?
Right.
Good thing we aren't addicted to McDonald's Monopoly like some people are.
Poor souls.
Here is a picture of the rainbow that we did not follow today:

I'm addicted too! ... you gotta tell me... what meal offers the most pieces?
ReplyDeleteOkay. Well if you wanna get the most for your money then buy hashbrowns in the morning. They are two for a dollar and you get 2 on each package. So you are essentially getting 4 at 25 cents a piece. If you're a combo meal kind of family (like we are) then get a Big Mac combo with large fries and a medium drink. You'll get 8 pieces at once!!! Haha. Seriously... we need a twelve step program.
